Battlefield 3 needs a "map pack" for just jet based maps. So that there can be more than 4 jets in the air at once. kind of like in battlefield 1943 with air superiority.

They are not obligated to show you, but the radar equipment is required to be serviced/calibrated.
In court, you can request to see the documentation proving the equipment was serviced and in working order at the time.

No it is not required by law to saw you the radar when you are stopped for speeding..

you can ask all you want, but no State let's you see the radar, and no court will uphold that you did not get to see it....

The police do not have to show you at all.......

Many go to court and say I was not speeding , and says oh and they would not let me see the radar speed, the Judge will usually smile and say, maam or sir, you not entitled to see the radar speed clocked on you.....have seen and heard this too many times in Court, it is just not allowed......so pay the speeding ticket and move on folks.....

oh, and no Court allows you to appeal a speeding ticket unless the officer cannot produce the tape as well showing he was actually usinig the radar gun, that is the law......so, there is a way to prove he clocked you correctly, and that is why courts won't listen to, I was not speeding at all Your Honor.......I know it seems they just pull you over to make a quoted, but they can also lose their jobs if questioned, were you really using the proper clocking device, and if he tape from the police vehicle does not show they were, suspension or even termination does occur......so, please don't think they do not have a way to prove it as they do.....

So, a piece of advice, if you were looking at your speedometer and they pull you over, take the ticket and when you get to court, ask the Judge to have the officer prove they were actually usinig the radar to clock you or not, this is the only way your ever gonna beat the speeding ticket, but don't even think even this will get you out of the actual speeding vice, because they can say, yes they were and rule against your request

Good luck, lead footers, slow down now LOL

Sigh... Good old console noobs thinking its easier on PC. It's fucking impossible to use a mouse, you have to lift in up and put it back because you literally run out of mouse pad.
Not to mention its impossible to keep proper angles with a sensitive mouse. Think twice, you console player have a joystick, we have a keyboard and pretty much a half broken joystick. It's harder on PC,

It is not only an officer safety issue but it is done for the fairness of the driver.

When an officer uses radar, they don't just see a number and pull you over and write a ticket, they need to do several things. The first thing that they need to do is get a visual estimate of the vehicle, second is to get an audio tone from the radar unit that is consistent with the speed that they estimate and then the number on the display screen has to match the information that the officer has processed, this is called a tracking history.

If the officer came around the corner and got a reflection or some other anomaly and locked in the speed without verifying it (you have heard of the tree doing 103 miles per hour), they would be doing the driver a disservice and incorrectly issue the driver a summons.

We are not required to show the driver the radar. It is a matter of Officer safety. I don't show people my radar because I want to keep them in their vehicle and out of the road and traffic. I also don't want them out and walking around, the stop is much easier to control if they stay in their car. So no, we are not required to show people our radar. This is a common myth.

~Sigh~ The burden of proof is not required on a traffic stop. That is for court and court is not held on the side of the road. It is conducted in a courtroom in front of a judge. I wish people would not answer questions in here if they don't have a simple grasp of legal theory.

@NGUpremier It really depends how you use the tools available with keyboard and mouse. Mouse is superior for precision aiming compared to joystick, but inferior for general flight movement. The pilot in this video uses arrow keys for flight movement (much like a joystick), but switches that hand to a mouse for vehicle and infantry killing (what his video). I own a quality joystick which I use on PC, and even I switch to mouse for the precision because it's simply easier to get accurate shots.

@NGUpremier Oh, and rebinding right and left mouse to Yaw instead of Roll helps with aiming. It's just like aiming any other gun at that point.
